Multiple Charges

Client was stopped for driving excessively fast and it turned into an OVI arrest. Client tested .112 on the breath test. A couple of months later, while 1st case was still pending, client gets involved in a domestic altercation, which turns into another OVI, with a breath test refusal, Domestic Violence, and Resisting Arrest.

 

Client attended a 3 day alcohol school and engaged in extensive alcohol counseling. The cases were combined and the client pled to OVI, Speed, Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control, and Persistent Disorderly Conduct. Remaining charges were dismissed. Client received credit for the alcohol school, received a total of $475 in fines and a total of 8 points were assessed. No further license suspension was imposed and all the Administrative License suspension and reinstatement fees were canceled, saving the client reinstatement fees.
