Case 1255

Vehicle that client was riding was stopped for driving without headlights. Passengers were ordered to exit the vehicle. While the passengers were out, the vehicle was searched. After the vehicle was searched, all of the passengers were searched. Marijuana and a pipe were found on client during the search. Client resisted the search of his person. Client ultimately cited with Possession of Paraphernalia and Obstructing Official Business. Client’s goal was to keep Client’s record free of the drug charge.

 

Negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in client pleading to Obstructing Official Business and the Paraphernalia charge dismissed. Client received a $100 fine.
