Case 1232 OVI

Client was seen failing to yield at an intersection and almost causing an accident. The officer also discovered that the client had expired plates. Upon stopping client, the officer smelled a moderate odor of alcohol. Client performed well on most sobriety tests, but failed one. Client tested .115 on breath alcohol test. Client cited with OVI, Failure to Yield and Expired Plates.

Client attended a 3-day alcohol school prior to plea, and negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in conviction for Physical Control with credit for the alcohol school, $1,000 fine, no license suspension, and Administrative License Suspension and reinstatement fee cancelled. 0 points were assessed on the license.
