Case 1229 OVI

Client was stopped for driving over the center line. While talking to the client, the officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol and client’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy. Client admitted to drinking beer. Client failed the field sobriety tests. However, towards the end of the sobriety tests, it began to rain but the officer made client complete all the tests in the rain. Client unable to properly blow into breath machine and gave a urine sample instead. Urine result was .198 alcohol level. Client was cited for OVI and Left of Center.
