Case 1222 OVI

Client was stopped for speeding. Client had a “strong” odor of alcohol. Client was 19 years old. Client admitted to drinking. Client failed some sobriety tests, but passed others. Client tested .045 on the breath alcohol test. Client cited with OVI, OVUAC (kiddie OVI), and Under Age Consumption.

 

Client attended an under-age alcohol class prior to plea, and negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in conviction for Reasonable Control with a $150 fine, no license suspension. 2 points were assessed on the drivers license.
