Case 1189 OVI

Client was stopped for weaving back and forth within his lane and crossing the center line.  Client had a strong odor of alcohol and glassy and bloodshot eyes.  Client admitted to drinking alcohol.  Client was wearing a Budweiser wrist band for obtaining alcohol.  Client failed the field sobriety tests.  Client was cited for OVI and Lanes of Travel.  Client refused the breath test.

 

Negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in conviction for Physical Control, a 3-day alcohol school, 20 days in jail suspended, $250 fine, no license suspension, and refusal suspension and reinstatement fee cancelled. 0 points were assessed on the license.
