Case 1165 possession

Client was involved in a 1 car accident. Client was taken to the hospital by ambulance where a blood draw resulted in a blood-alcohol test of .265. A search of the client’s vehicle revealed marijuana and paraphernalia. Client cited with 3rd OVI in 6 years, Driving without Reasonable Control, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. Client had several convictions beyond 6 years.

 

Client attended a 3-day alcohol school and counseling prior to plea, and negotiations with the prosecutor resulted conviction for 1st OVI in 6 years with credit for the 3 day school, 20 days in jail suspended, $375 fine, and a 3 year license suspension with interlock driving privileges
