Resisting Arrest and Obstruction of Justice Case

Violation and Citation:

Too much beer at a bar can lead to Resisting Arrest and Obstruction of JusticeClient was arrested while intoxicated for badgering police officers while they were attempting to get a crowd under control at a bar. A scuffle ensued resulting with client on the ground and officers on top. Client cited for persistent disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.

Result:

Client obtained a favorable alcohol evaluation and engaged in other mitigating behavior. Negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in conviction for Minor Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct with $150 fine, with all other charges being dropped.
